Dual-Channel Waterjet Propulsion Module

Tasked with the research, design, development, and manufacturing of a small, versatile underwater propulsion module.  The module utilizes a waterjet system and an innovative dual-channel nozzle design to generate thrust.

Engineering Software and Simulation 

I have extensively developed and refined my CFD skills from working on my Thesis and completing an Advanced Fluid Dynamics course.  My CFD experience includes OpenFOAM and ANSYS Fluent.

CAD and 3D Printing Showcase

Engineering Software and Rapid Prototyping

Serving as a URI Mechanical Engineering Capstone Teaching Assistant and working on my Thesis has allowed me to extensively develop and refine my CAD and 3D printing skills.  My CAD skills have also improved tremendously through completing personal projects in my spare time. I have FDM 3D Printing experience with the Ultimaker S5 and Raise 3D N2 and slicing experience with Cura and Ideamaker.  My CAD experience includes Autodesk Inventor Professional, Fusion 360, and SOLIDWORKS.

My graduate academic work primarily focused on enhancing my Mechanical Engineering prowess through advanced MCE courses.  I was also able to expand the scope of my engineering knowledge from completing courses outside of my specific engineering discipline.

My undergraduate academic work provided me with an excellent base of knowledge regarding the fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering.  I worked on a variety of group projects and labs that allowed me to refine my teamwork abilities and develop a wealth of important engineering skills.
